Fe para la Resurrección.

Pastora. Judith Espinoza. 05-02-2023.

Faith for the Resurrection

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her
sister Martha. 2  (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped
his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) 3  Therefore his sisters sent
unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. Jhon 11:1-3

God’s Word tells us through the story of Lazarus and his sisters, that they were going
through a difficult time. sisters, that they were going through a difficult time of sickness and
death, but from God’s perspective, it was a time for the entire family to raise their measure
of faith because God was going to be glorified in the face of such a problem.
Beloved brothers and sisters, although there are difficult moments in different places
where we find ourselves, we are called, as children of God, to raise our measure of faith,
because the Lord has conquered death, sickness, poverty, among others, on the cross of
Calvary.

sleeping.
Let us review aspects that stand out in the dynamics of this family and leave a powerful
teaching for us as children of God:

  1. Martha complained to the Lord for not having arrived on time, but the Lord affirmed
her in the eternal and exhorted her to believe, because Lazarus needed life. God
expects our measure of faith to be enlivened and to declare life in the face of
    difficult situations. John 11:20-26

  2. Mary heard the voice of the Lord and ran before Him. When we hear the voice of
God it is necessary to go in haste because faith is put into action. John 11:28-29

  3. Mary prostrated herself before the Lord. When the problem worsens it is necessary
to break and prostrate our heart before the Lord. John 11:28 to 45

  4. The Lord was enraged at the problema, because the darkness had touched His
friends, and He had his friends, and then he commands to remove the stone from
Lazarus’ tomb. Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, you have
always heard” me, and therefore I cry out with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
Beloved, we must remove the stone of unbelief, doubt, etc., from our lives. It is
also necessary to raise our voice to the Father and remove the stone of that which
we had already given for dead: family, sector, among others. John 11: 33-45

Pastoral advice:
-Rise up to believe for yourself and your entire household.
-We are called to be torches in the nations of the earth.
-Jesus’ message to his disciples is to believe. John 11:15
-When faced with a problem, unite with people of faith. John 11:17
-Live the measure of faith that God has given you at all times.
